Our spy photographers have spied the prototype of the 2016 BMW 7-Series testing. This mule shows a totally changed exterior and interior. Its grille is refreshed and it is shaped in form of a kidney something that makes it look a more decent. The choice of engines isn’t the same as it is with the model on-sale. Inside, 2016 BMW 7-Series has got a variety of changes including more decent seats, larger and livelier dashboard and a refined styling.

The test mule didn’t expose the overall look of the 2016 BMW 7-Series, based on the exposed sections and the spreading rumors, it is clear that this model will get a range of changes and updates. These changes start from the rear and front lights which have been reduced in size and coupled with LED technology to guarantee better lighting. Unlike its predecessor, the new model rests on BMW’s new platform the 35 up. The key materials used in constructing 2016 BMW 7-series are high-grade steel, aluminum and magnesium alloys. Though all of the engines are diesel and petroleum-based, their performance and fuel economy rate cannot be compared be compared with those of any other sedan of its class. To begin with, the new model comes with a 3.0 liter V6 power-train that is able to output 254 horses of power and 316 pounds-feet of torque. The next engine offered with the 2016 BMW 7-series is the 4.4 liter V8 motor that generates 443 pounds-feet of torque and 400 horses of power. The last option is the 6.0 liter V12 petrol engine making 537 horses of power. As for the diesel engines, there is a 3.0 liter V6 engine making 254 horses of power and the 376 pounds-feet. All of these engines will be paired to an eight-velocity automatic transmission. We are not able as at now dictate the exact fuel efficient rated for these models but according to rumors, they will be better-off than those in the current generation.

2016 BMW 7-Series Price Estimate

Based on the confirmed news, the 2016 BMW 7 series will debut in the 2015 Frankfurt Auto in Germany after which it may reach the markets in 2016. The price estimates for this model have not been confirmed yet though it is rumored that it will cost more than its predecessor. That is to mean that it will be sold for more than 75,000 dollars.
